Welcome
Dear Community, Welcome to Washington Preparatory School (WAPrep), a 6th -12th-grade college preparatory school that emphasizes STEM, project learning, communication skills, and entrepreneurial thinking. WAPrep opened its doors in the fall of 2018, and the faculty are looking forward to beginning our fifth academic school year. Visitors often ask, “What are the differentiators that WaPrep offers that other independent schools do not?” I respond that our faculty are life-long learners, experts in their fields, strategic planners, and coaches who motivate our students to achieve their goals. Our students thrive because they are willing to work alongside their peers and teachers. It is a willingness that enables them to embrace new and unfamiliar challenges with what I call an “I can do this” approach.
