Mr. Paul has been teaching at WA Prep for three years. He has 11 years of teaching experience, six years at the collegiate level and five years at the secondary level. Mr. Paul teaches core academic courses such as AP and IB Biology, AP Physics 1, Chemistry as well as elective coursework in Physiology, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, and The History of Life on Earth.
Mr. Paul says, “The scientific enterprise is the most successful system in the history of human existence. The facts and patterns revealed by it have greatly improved the human condition. This enterprise, however, transcends humans in time: it must be taught to each successive generation, or it will disappear. I feel passionate about educating the next generation of scientists (or educating non-scientists to be scientifically literate), as they are the future of the scientific enterprise and will continue to improve humanity’s prospects.” In his spare time Mr. Paul enjoys experimenting with Homebrewing/Zymurgy.
