Ms. Rachel joined Washington Preparatory in 2019 with the goal of building the art program that she dreamed of as a student, and she is always looking for new techniques to share with her classes. As a first-generation college graduate, Ms. Rachel understands the transformative power of education and seeks to support students in becoming lifelong learners. She believes that through art people can connect with the world more deeply and understand themselves in new and surprising ways. If she had a motto it would be “stay curious!” In her free time, she enjoys roller skating, learning Spanish, cooking and traveling with her husband and daughter.
