Don Sephy has been inspiring and educating students since 1999 in 6th-12th grade levels and a couple of years teaching elementary grades as well. With graduate studies in linguistics, he has proficiently taught Hebrew, Italian, Spanish, and English in Israel, California, and Washington State. Don Sephy’s appreciation of language and its diverse nature is truly inspiring. Moreover, he loves food and film, and his passion for Mediterranean, Ethiopian, and Mexican food is contagious. This passion extends beyond the kitchen as he is a former president of the Santa Cruz, CA Horror Film Society where he was referred as a “Zombiephile” due to his special interests in Zombie films. Don Sephy’s favorite film, Equus, although not a horror film, communicates his unique and profound affinity for cinema as a venue to understand the human condition and spirituality. Interestingly, don Sephy can read fortunes with coffee grounds, Runes and with a limited ability, Tarot cards, a testament to his intriguing personality. Such a dedication to knowledge and exploration is worthy of applause, and don Sephy’s achievements serve as an inspiration to us all.
